With an ever increasing demand is it time to get to work or get training? After reading this article I am convinced that there will be more problems than you or I will be able to fix, with that an increase of new workers in an industry custom built for geniuses I wonder where they will all come from. Its obvious to me that training is the first and foremost necessity in the industry, and by training I mean to advocate advanced tool use and methodologies. Not just flowery theories, but the usage of tools for vulnerability analysis and penetration testing, the proper configuration and maintenance of computer networks, patching and remediation. Comprehensive reviews of policies and procedures. And with all of that time is a great factor, such a factor that the increase of work in this industry may be an omen, that there will always be security problems that there will always be work. We can only hope to keep the information which is most valuable safe from general threats and persistent threats are bound to become more intelligent and effective.
